Outgoing Chairperson handed over to incoming Chairperson
On Monday December 09th, 2019, Domitilla MUKANTAGANZWA, the newly appointed Chairperson of Rwanda Law Reform commission (RLRC), took the office from Aimable HAVUGIYAREMYE the outgoing Chairperson, in a handover ceremony held at the premises of the commission.
Later in the morning, the new Chairperson presided over the first general staff meeting in order to draw major lines that will guide her work at RLRC for the next days.
In her remarks, Ms Domitilla MUKANTAGANZWA urged staff members for hard work, the spirit of team work and always bearing in mind the fact that services are rendered to the community and the country, not to themselves.
The Chairperson further promised a conducive working environment for everybody’s performance.
The new Chairperson took office following the appointment by HE the President of the Republic of Rwanda on 4th December 2019 and the subsequent approval by the Senate, on 9th December 2019.
Before her appointment as RLRC Chairperson, Ms Domitilla served as the Executive Secretary of the National Gacaca Jurisdiction Commission.
